In partnership with Baldwin Wallace University, LADO International Institute has opened an English language center on the BW campus, in historic Dietsch Hall. LADO-BW helps our students achieve their dreams by providing high quality English as a Second Language (ESL) training, using the Total Approach method inspired by Dr. Robert Lado’s accomplishments in applied linguistics.
We offer intensive English classes at all levels, in 4-week full-time sessions year-round, in two program schedules - morning and afternoon. Classes meet Monday-Friday for 19 class days (85.5 class hours per session), either 9:00am to 2:45pm (Morning Intensive) or 12:00pm to 5:15pm (Afternoon Intensive). In addition to 10 levels of core English lessons, we also offer Upper Level Electives courses, private English tutoring, and week-long workshops/skill sessions.
Our classes are open to prospective or conditionally-admitted BW international students, or to anyone age 17 or older who wishes to study English, both local residents and those applying from abroad. For those in need of a student visa, LADO-BW personnel will walk you through the process and assist you with the required documentation.
